How does Synergy work?

Every mammal has a modulatory system in their bodies known as the endocannabinoid system (ECS) that controls their physiological, biological, and psychological responses. It’s a network of receptors that plays a profound roll in your well-being. These receptors impact things like your sleep, relaxation, mood, and even cognitive function.

Your ECS interacts with various compounds created by your body called endocannabinoids.

When the proper levels of endocannabinoids are attained, your body, mind, and spirit are in balance. This state of homeostasis is a fundamental foundation for well-being.

But when your ECS is experiencing a deficiency in endocannabinoids, nature provides a powerful answer.

This answer is found in the hemp plant.

One of the most exciting scientific breakthroughs in modern times is the discovery that the hemp plant naturally produces phytocannabinoids such as cannabidiol otherwise known as, CBD.

Although, CBD is the definitely the breakout star compound in the hemp plant, nature’s intention was for it to be consumed alongside the other naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, and fatty acids.

That’s why unlike other hemp oils that isolate only the CBD from the hemp plant, Emris uses a proprietary extraction method to ensure that our products preserve the full plant profile minus the THC.

The result is SYNERGY.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re excited and proud to be at the forefront of the explosion in the awareness and acceptance of CBD products in the United States and around the world. But if you’re not up on your CBD’s or are still wondering what exactly CBD is or how it could potentially benefit you and your family we wanted to answer some of the most common questions to help you decide if CBD is right for you.

A.Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. One of over 100 cannabinoids, CBD has burst onto the scene over the last handful of years because of its potential medicinal and healing properties.

For a substantial part of human history cannabis plants were revered for their medicinal and healing properties until hemp along with marijuana were banned in most countries around the world. Up until its ban, hemp plants (low in THC – the psychoactive ingredient that made its cousin marijuana so famous) had been a staple product in many countries because of its versatility and sturdiness.

High in CBD and low in THC, hemp production has been fully legalized in the United States again after an 80 year ban with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, signed into law by President Trump in December 2018.

All of the CBD we use in our products is derived from hemp plants grown on farms in the United States of America.

Even though the legal limit in the United States of THC for CBD products is .3% we have gone a step further and are bringing products to the market that are 100 % THC-free.

Our products are all 100% THC-free!

According to the Federal Government, hemp or industrial hemp includes the plant Cannabis Sativa L. and any part or derivative with a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of no more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.

The state and federal legal landscape surrounding hemp derived CBD and other hemp-derived products has been changing at the speed of light. The 2018 Farm Bill signed into law by President Trump in December 2018, effectively legalized hemp and hemp derived products at the federal level.

Hemp and marijuana are terms often used interchangeably to describe any cannabis plant or its derivatives. Although they are both part of the cannabis family of plants they are not the same plant.

Here’s an easy way to delineate between the two:

Hemp is cannabis.

Marijuana is cannabis.

Hemp is NOT marijuana.

CBD products typically fall into three distinct categories: Isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum. CBD isolate products are typically products that contain just CBD that has been isolated during extraction. Broad spectrum refers to CBD products containing the full plant profile such as additional cannabinoids (not just CBD), terpenes, fatty acids, etc, except the THC has been completely removed. Full spectrum refers to CBD products containing the full plant profile such as additional cannabinoids (not just CBD), terpenes, fatty acids, etc, including the legally accepted level of THC.

All of our CBD products are produced from American farms in Colorado.

The chart below lists which medicinal properties are attributed to CBD as well as some of the other major cannabinoids (CBN, CBC, CBG). CBDA is the acid form of the compound.

When grown and harvested, the flowers are almost all CBDA and THCA. A treatment with a medium level heat application (280 – 300 degrees Fahrenheit) converts CBDA to CBD as well as THCA to THC.
