CBD and a Healthy Lifestyle change CBD Benefits Hemp Wellness

Nutrition, exercise and mental health are the foundations to maintaining good health. As we get older, our body naturally reduces its own ability to do things we are used to it doing. Hence why the supplement industry has grown in popularity.

While medical statements and the like can not legally be made, there is a tremendous amount of data from studies that show there are many milestones achieved in improving conditions.

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of the most abundant cannabinoids in the hemp plant that provides many health benefits with none of the psycho-active effects normally associated with cannabis use.

We have already discussed the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) here, however, we will include just a couple points about your bodies natural CBD system.

Most people are simply not aware that the human body produces its own cannabis-like compounds called, endocannabinoids.

They are part of a system in the body known as the “endocannabinoid system” (ECS). While there is still much to be learned about the ECS, research has shown that the ECS influences our stress response, how memory works, how our appetite works, and more.

Among other potential benefits, DNA CBD derived from hemp helps reduce inflammation and is a powerful antioxidant. As we get older our body is working overtime to inhibit oxidation, especially to counteract deterioration.

There are many studies that have demonstrated CBD offers anti-inflammatory relief with no kidney damage nor other harmful side effects.

The possibilities for managing pain could be endless. Since the Farm Bill of 2018 (December) removed hemp as a controlled substance, future research and development will make this evolve even further!

Please note, it is important to speak with your doctor regarding CBD use, especially if you are taking other medications, supplements, and/or other medicines.

What Is CBD?

It’s short for cannabidiol, and it’s a natural compound found in both marijuana and hemp plants. There’s some evidence that it might help treat pain, seizures, and some other health problems. But much more research is needed for doctors to know for sure what it can do.

How Do You Take It?

You can take CBD oil by itself by mouth or with water.

Does It Make You High?

DNA CBD does NOT get you high– another substance in marijuana called THC is what does that. Click here to see our product ingredients and process.

Is It Addictive?

CBD oil by itself is not addictive. But CBD products that also have extreme amounts of THC, above 0.3%, can be. The key is to know the source and check the ingredients. We are in control of every step in the process. Click here to see our product ingredients and process.

Are CBD’s FDA Approved?

The FDA has approved only one CBD-based drug, and it’s used to treat two rare types of epilepsy: Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome. It’s called Epidiolex, and it’s approved for adults and kids over age 2.

However, if you study the ingredients, the results may shock you.

Can It Ease Pain?

Some people say it helps relieve nerve pain while scientists are working to see if it might help with arthritis. There’s some evidence that it may help muscle spasms linked to multiple sclerosis. More clinical research is needed to know for sure.

Does It Help Blood Pressure?

In normal conditions, CBD does not seem to affect blood pressure in one way or another. Researchers are studying whether it might help keep your blood pressure stable when you’re stressed. More work needs to be done before scientists fully understand its effects.

Does It Help Inflammation?

Early studies show that CBD might help with inflammation, especially if it’s related to arthritis, MS, diabetes, or Alzheimer’s. Scientists however are still trying to prove this and some customers will tell you that is does in fact help.

Is CBD Good for Your Skin?

There is evidence that CBD might be a treatment for acne. It seems to help with both the inflammation that can lead to breakouts and the amount of fatty acids in the blood, which can make them worse. It also may protect skin cells from damage.

Does It Help Psychosis?

One study showed it helped ease the symptoms of psychosis in people with schizophrenia, but more research is needed to know just how well it might work. Keep in mind that THC, which is found in a number of CBD products, can have the opposite effect, and product labels are not always accurate.

Are There Side Effects?

So far, CBD does not seem to cause any serious side effects. When it’s used to treat epilepsy or psychotic disorders, people reported tiredness, diarrhea, and changes in appetite. But CBD can affect how other medications work when combined. Be sure to tell your doctor about everything you take, including vitamins and supplements.

Please note, it is important to speak with your doctor regarding CBD use, especially if you are taking other medications, supplements, and/or other medicines.

Incorporating CBD Into A Healthy Lifestyle, By Shauna Blanch

Meditation, exercise, diet, supplements, and therapy: these are all standard ways that people seek a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Today, though, many constituents of the cannabis plant are finding their way into mainstream wellness regimens, and Cannabidiol is one of the most popular therapeutic components being utilized. CBD is non-intoxicating and will not get the user high like THC, but it is a powerful mood-altering compound that can impact the entire body in positive ways. It has been shown to regulate inflammation, pain, anxiety, sleep, skin health, and immune system function, to name a few.

From ingesting CBD oil sublingually to using Cannabis-infused skin care, research is indicating that the health benefits are second to none. Great news for those who have stayed away due to regulations, with CBD from hemp you no longer have to get a medical marijuana license or buy it off the streets to treat your chronic pain. Now, all adults have access to this plant and its vast array of benefits.

What are the benefits of Cannabis and how would I incorporate it into my current lifestyle?

Let’s face it, we all have something that’s imbalanced in our lives. Several things for the majority of us! CBD works with a number of systems throughout our body to help bring them back into homeostasis, a.k.a. balance:

*We can easily administer it through topical applications like muscle salves and face creams.
*Consume it internally via sublingual, edibles, and sprays.
*A small amount under the tongue, in tea, or mixed into a morning smoothie is an accessible way for people on the go to reap the powerful benefits.
*Receiving a CBD-infused massage or facial is also an excellent way to bring healing to both the mind and body.

One of the most powerful benefits of CBD is its ability to regulate the stress response and relieve feelings of anxiousness, general stress, and depression. In a 2014 study conducted on animal models, CBD was found to have both anti-anxiety and antidepressant effects, something that a vast majority of Americans deal with. CBD been found to have incredible effects on improving sleep quality and alleviating disorders like insomnia and sleep apnea.

When it comes to exercise recovery, there’s just nothing better. Everyone, from weekend warriors to professional athletes, suffers from some sort of soreness, tiredness or even feelings of nausea. Pre-and post-workout, CBD may help speed up the body’s natural recovery time, improve recovery of tissues, nerves and bones, reduce pain and nausea during and after exercise, and minimize any negative effects on the body.

CBD is also an effective anti-inflammatory agent that has been found to reduce both chronic and acute pain. Studies shows that CBD reduces pain related to inflammation and is promising as an osteoarthritis treatment. With inflammation being the root cause of many skin ailments–from acne, aging and pigmentation, to psoriasis and eczema, use in skin care and wellness centers is gaining acceptance and is in high demand.

The time is now. Whether it be for preventative reasons, or to treat an ailment, incorporating CBD into your daily routine may be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself.
