If you’re going to make your weed infused butter at home, you will need to pick up cannabis bud. We always recommend consulting your budtender to select the best weed strain for your cannabis edibles.
This is a couple tips for selecting your weed.
Let your dispensary representative know that you will be creating cannabutter with your marijuana buds. They can help you choose a strain that works well with cannabis cooking. Decide between a THC strain for elevating properties or a CBD bud that will not get you high.
Do not skip this very important step.
If you’re ready to create your cannabis infused butter, it is time to decarboxylate your weed. This will activate the compounds in your cannabis that give you all of its helpful properties. Does it matter what type of chocolate i use? Like can i use milk chocolate or would it be better to use dark
It says the bar serves 8, but how big are the servings? Can you get multiple bars from this amount?

Increase the recipe by two, so put half a cup of canna butter and 8 cups of chocolate.
I have been making butter and chocolates for years now. You don’t have to temper your canabutter. Slow-cooked 5 lbs of stick butter on warm and what ever plant you have for about 8 hours. Don’t want to do any longer then that because they you start to cook out the potency. I have a friend who grows and I use all the trim (stems, branch, seeds and leaf) along with what ever shake it left from trimming. My butter is outstanding and packs quite a punch. Now the recipe for the chocolates are pretty spot on for the measerments, how ever instead of using bark, I buy chocolate chips. Why? Because they come in so many different flavors. Works just the same and the results are amazing. Just a little FYI. When baking or cooking anything that requires oil, you can literally melt that butter and substitute it in the oils place. Makes for great food all the time.
If u don’t want to spend a couple hundred on majic butter machine u can easily cook your cannabutter in your slow cooker/crockpot but make sure it is set only on warm not high or low just warm! U can use it from anywhere from 4-6 hours or 12-24 hours! Cool before straining through a cheesecloth and strainer for the just in cases! Then follow rest of the chock recipe and all will be sweet! Pardon the pun lol
